When 7-year-old Coraleña's family swims south for the winter, she decides to fulfill her dream of becoming a pirate. Only problem is, females (especially mermaids) are considered bad luck by sailors. Undaunted, she keeps swimming toward her goal, making friends and having adventures along the way.
